Meet One-on-One

Schedule at least one informative meeting with your successor to answer questions and share insight.

Plan Their First Meeting

Help them build confidence by guiding the first agenda, announcements, and officer expectations.

Set SMART Goals

Ask successors to create 3–5 personal goals for the year and five SMART goals for their position.

“The main job of a leader is to create capable leaders.”

Show people the game and how they can win it. Help them believe they can do big things. Be the example of constant growth.
